I don’t see much narrative poetry on Substack - it’s refreshing! There’s a lot of lovely detail here too.

I had to look up Fjällräven, but beside that, the various symbols of the trendy Californian lifestyle are both humorous and sad. I'm enjoying the story.

Very nice, Robert. I like all of the details your incorporated—they all ring true and I feel worked well to anchor the events in a particular context. (As an office worker myself, I saw a lot of my co-workers in the writing.)
