Sweltering with arrogance, I really enjoyed the poem. The preface was excellent - I absolutely agree. Perhaps death is alluring when you’ve had everything else. Nothing left to buy or manipulate, so why not force Fate‘s hand? Something to do, I suppose…
Thank you Wrenness. Yeah, something to do. It’s similar to Dostoevsky when he said that, If man was given the utopia, the first thing he would do would be to look for something to smash it with.
An interesting point. I suspect that they would, although they would destroy it in a different way than men would. The principle itself, if real, is a universal, that is, a human, one.
